The goal is for children to develop character and virtue which encourages each child to become a respectful and responsible citizen of their civic community. Through the use of Caring for Life Education tools, partner schools are able to promote communities in which empathy, kindness and good works are modelled, taught, expected and continually practiced. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1500972550307{padding-top: 0px !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1500972486403{padding-top: 15px !important;}”][vc_single_image image=”2176″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Through learning and by accepting the challenges set by humane education, students reflect on the nature and complexity of their own existence, their place within society and their impact on the environment. Students develop a deeper level of understanding and a sense of personal and social responsibility, which empowers individuals  to take responsibility for themselves and contribute to the wellbeing of others, of their community and their environment.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Primary education offers the ideal timing and circumstances for the teaching of Caring for Life Education for students between the ages of 6 and 12 years. ACTAsia has worked with specialists for the past 2 years, developing these two curriculum documents both in terms of content and design.
